Cotelco is directed by Dr. Derrick L. Cogburn at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies (“the iSchool”). Assisting Dr. Cogburn in managing the lab during the 2006-07 academic year are Benjamin K. Addom and Michael J. Scialdone ,both of whom are matriculatedin the Doctoral Program in Information Science & Technology at the iSchool.

Human Participant Protection(HPP) Training

Each lab member is fully aware of the ethical responsibilities of conducting social scientific research involving human participants, and with the steps that must be taken to ensure their protection. In view of this, each lab member uploads an electronic copy of his or her completed certificate onto the Cotelco repository.
